apache proxying
How-To Posted by Johnd on Thursday August 24, 06:11PM, 2006
from the dept.
I'm having trouble with Apache proxying...

I use mod_proxy with this directive:
ProxyPass / http://jjdev.com:8080/squish
ProxyPassReverse / http://jjdev.com:8080/squish

but the links on the page all refer to http://jjdev.com:8080/squish not jjdev.com/

I don't have 8080 open and dont' want the links on the page refering to 8080 and have /squish

is there any way to make zope use jjdev.com/ as the base?

Okay, in short, you're not doing it right ;-)

Have a google to find out what a VirtualHostMonster is.

Then have a play with this tool:

...which will likely get you the set of rewrite rules you need :-)

    cheers,

    Chris
